Test Manager - Manchester - £60k - £70k

Adria Solutions Ltd has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Test Manager to join our expanding client in Manchester. As a Test Manager you will lead, manage and develop a team of Test Leads who in turn manage a team of Test Analysts and Software Engineers in Test, ensuring the whole team understands the company and department goals.
The duties of the Test Manager will include:
- Responsible for defining Test strategy, approach and execution in development and 3rd party projects
- Responsible for leading and directing the Test leadership team
- Provide leadership and technical expertise within Quality Assurance and Test Automation
- Produces the overall test delivery plan defining the business and IT test deliverable milestones, test tasks and activities; tracking progress against this and implements strategies to recover slippage
- Supports the team in determining which test phases will be automated and in selecting and implementing appropriate test tools
- Implement a well-structured approach to test defect management and incident reporting
The ideal Test Manager will have:
- Excellent understanding and a good level of competency of good practice in the end-to-end processes of designing, building, testing and releasing software
- Demonstrable experience in working and leading in a fast-paced, high impacting, Agile digital delivery environment
- Able to communicate a complicated problem succinctly, accurately and coherently to a team with different skill sets
- Able to mentor and share knowledge across the team and wider department
- Experience in challenging others to develop, whilst serving as a role model
- Strong Automation, Agile, Security, Cloud, People Management experience
