TypeScript Developer – Fully Remote – Up to £53k
On behalf of our growing client based in London, we are recruiting for a talented TypeScript Developer. As TypeScript Developer, you will maintain and develop the tools and products that drive our clients’ technology. This involves monitoring and responding to complex product challenges and ensuring anticipatory action to sustain a seamless service.
Our client is unlike any other in the UK, instead of taking donations from political parties, or big donors, they run on hundreds of thousands of small donations from the public. This independence means that they never have to hold themselves back from taking on those with power and can truly listen to their supporters.
The TypeScript Developer you will be responsible for:
- Design, review and update the specifications/requirements for the technology tools and services used. Identify and raise any technology issues and propose solutions to the senior members of the technology team.
- Accountable for the development of features according to agreed specifications aligned to the requirements of company campaigns.
- Collaborates with campaigners and senior technologists on the development of new feature requirements and solutions
- Develops a full range of tools/coding services aligned to established development cycles ensuring consistent timeliness and quality of deliverables.
- Assess the performance of systems/tools against organizational requirements. Identifying areas for improvement aligned and making recommendations to the evolution of technology
- Advise the Campaigns team on the development, progress, and timelines of products, and how to effectively define requirements/specifications, to ensure that the technology is useful and optimized for users
The TypeScript Developer will have the following:
- Significant experience in designing and building tools and maintaining a range of products within a platform of integrated services.
- Significant understanding of the interconnection of services/products that supports a comprehensive platform.
- Ability to produce timely, high-quality products, whilst also mentoring team members in the production of technology.
- Significant demonstrated skill in the translation of complex technical systems into simple language and ability to consult with team members who may not have the knowledge or experience in technology, providing clear technical solutions.
- Demonstrable significant experience in achieving sustained high-quality deliverables that continue to meet the expectations of the team, the community of supporters and target audiences
- Significant experience in the delivery of medium-sized tool/database/systems improvements and innovations, involving more than one stakeholder.
- Significant experience in reviewing delivery of IT support/development services and ensuring consistency with standards and service delivery expectations.
- Developer with significant Full stack or strong front end/back end experience (TypeScript, /Express/React stack).
