Web Manager – Crewe – Up to £40k
On behalf of our well-established global client, we are recruiting for a talented Web Manager. As Web Manager, you will join their IT/UX Marketing team, where you will be responsible for our client’s website.
The Web Manager will be responsible for:
- Plan, implement, manage, monitor, and upgrade the group websites
- Handle delivery of multi-country web requirements
- Liaising with multi-country requests and prioritising deliverables in line with business requirements.
- Respond to and troubleshoot all website issues
- Ensure that the website is protected by enabling the appropriate security measures
- Conduct content audits to eliminate redundant and/or duplicate information
- Ensure website quality and efficiency by conducting regular test plans.
- Collaborate with all staff and management to ensure that the website aligns with brand strategy and meets the organisation’s standards
- Ensure full compliance on the website with all laws and cookie regulation
- Keep up to date with industry best practices.
The Web Manager will have the following:
- Strong commercial experience in managing websites
- Extensive knowledge of managing content in WordPress CMS
- Setting up and using Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, Hotjar (or similar)
- Understanding of Search Engine Optimization (SEO) and web performance
- Responsible for data capture security, Cookie Policies, GDPR etc
- Managing project delivery and deadlines with the internal design team and external agencies
- Skilled in troubleshooting the website and constantly working with UX team and product owners to improve the User Experience (UX) of the website
- Basic skills in HTML, CSS, cross-browser compatibility
